I thought you might be another Wolfpack fan  The white fabric was from the Mill outlet store up on Capital Blvd just north of 540. The red and black are just plain kona cotton. I have white with the strutting wolf as the back fabric, but didn't take a picture of it. I also picked up some real cool red with a large strutting wolf that is lightweight canvas. I'm going to use that to make a bag to give along with the quilt. The wolf, I found on-line somewhere and enlarged to the size I needed. Then I traced it onto press and seal and stuck in on each of the large squares and quilted it. Some of them turned out kind of wonky, but I don't have the software yet for my computer that will allow me to turn line drawings into patterns for my embroidery machine to use to quilt with. Hopefully Santa will bring me that for Christmas. |
LOVE the monkey quilt, and the D9P is wonderful also. Great use of your rain time.
Since it is raining here right now, I need to get busy! |
