Panels are the five blocks completely quilted as you go. I sewed in the ditch of all the blocks . I was just given the t-shirts and I did all the cutting and used Pellon tricot interfacing on all of the t-shirt material so it would still be pliable but a little more stable without stretchin. Thanks ! I hope , I explained the hong kong seam well enough . It will keep the seam from popping up when washed and used . I did my blanket stitch on a very short length to keep it very stable. Trish
