What Do You Think?

I have stitched in the ditch between these squares and I'm stippling in the yellow circles. My question is, do you think that it will be fine if I don't do anymore quilting in the pink sections of the squares. The batting recommends 2"-4" and by stitching in the ditch around the squares, there's no more than 4" in the larger squares. However, there is that thin strip that runs around the circle. I understand that it might get a bit puffy, but that's ok. It's for my DD and she really doesn't mind the puffiness at all, lol. What do you think? Will it be ok?

I think it will be fine! You did a great job! My granddaughter would probably try to steal it though. She loves ladybugs!

That is really cute. Did you applique the ladybugs?

as long as the amount of stitching that you have done meets the requirements of the batting, it should be fine. it's a really cute quilt

very nice!!!!

Really cute! If it meets the batting requirement it will be fine. If you think it needs a little more, I would use black thread and SITD on the little black V between the wings.

Thanks everyone. The ladybugs are appliqued on. The original pattern was for a red, black, green and yellow quilt, but my daughter isn't a fan of green and her favorite color is pink, so we changed it up a bit. It meets the batting requirements in the centers, for the most part. My concern was that there's a little stretch of batting, from one corner to the other, that is 12" long, but in the center it's 1" wide, so I thought that that would be fine, but wasn't sure.
