Kids love fabric, I have learned. I keep a clear plastic barrel shaped container that I put really small scraps not usable for anything in my sewing area and when Tate (17 months) comes over he loves to take out the scraps and throw them. Sometimes they land on his head or someone else, then he giggles. It is a quite and fun entertainment for him, but he and his sisters know that they have to return to the container before leaving. They then make a game of putting the scraps back. We have to start them early to love fabric.
