Nice Haul!!!

I am lucky to have a thrift store very close. They sell bags of fabric for low, low prices and sometimes, they are marked down to 79 cents a bag. I'm rather choosey (and cheap) but usually come home with lots of goodies. Now I have to figure out what to do with all my treasures.

Good Lord, I've gotta get to the thrift store! LOL!

$1.98 Wow! I wished we had something like that in our area. Looks like you are set for Christmas. Very timely.

Very Nice.

I think you got your $1.98 worth & then some - even if you didn't keep it all

Nice one Billy! That wool looks stunning (especially the purple) you could maybe grab a few suits (wool/wool blend) or some suiting fabric and make a stunning wool quilt. Tip: if you use old suits chuck the whole lot in the wash and line dry to get all the drycleaning chemicals and whatnot out, then you cut them up. This takes care of shrinkage (if any) and also you can tell if the fabric will hold up enough to quilt.

Though not recommended for bed quilts, polyester makes nice sturdy picnic and beach quilts. My mom made several of them.
