This is for the pink green lav swap may not use it as the lav fabric is kinda hard to work with in this pattern.

That's a beautiful block! You have nice fabrics but I believe I would use the lavendar fab as a background piece and not as a "main attraction" piece. It's just one of those fabrics that's on the line that could go either way. Something a little more solid would be good for your ctr piece that would really hold the attn of that block. Great job anyway. It'll look good no matter what you choose! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Ok after 3 blocks I have decided on a pattern. I really liked the 1st one but the lav fabric just wasnt working with me. This is the one I will do for the swap

I think it's very pretty. I love your fabrics.

It's pretty tho' with the lavendar in there.

LIke second one better !!

not me. i like #1. i like that the lavender was the center of attention. i also liked it more against the pink instead of against the white. it made a bolder statement.
but if softness is the goal, the #2 is the right choice. either way, beautiful blocks and very nice fabrics. are they from a line or did you put them together yourself? |
