That is an absolute beauty. I love string quilts, made one myself not so long ago and they come together so quickly. You'll have to post a pic of the whole quilt when its finished.

Oh Ditter 43 the blocks are beautiful. I have a bag of scraps leftover from quilts made and think I will do the same. Thanks for the inspiration (I have to finish my projects that are in various stages of complettion first :? ).

I love that you put the SAME strip as the middle piece. That is what makes it look like it is on point! Thanks from a quilter who always learns something new. I can't wait to start one of my own.....after the million I have waiting first!! LOL

I used Kona cotton in white. Here is the tutorial I used: http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=6510

I changed the measurements to make a 12" finished block. It was very easy!

I use dryer sheets on the back of mine but they are not 12" blocks
