I taught my daughter inlaw how to quilt and finish the top of my Aunt's quilt with the scraps and a few pieces I had.

What a way to spend a storm.
|
great job & what a way to pass the time...
beats chewing fingernails! |
My back is very, very sore today. I did most of the pinning for her on the floor...I know better than that. Good thing I have a desk job. That is where I stayed for the whole day.
|
Great way to endure the storm. What a fun way for you and your daughter in law to get to know each other better. AWESOME
|
Good job

I love doing projects when I have company...so much nicer than just sitting around gossiping.
|
beautiful and be careful getting on the floor

Your DIL did a great job. Is she hooked now? Love both quilts.

Beautiful quilts and welcome to the new quilter.

My goodness. You two were productive. Nice storm projects.

What a way to wait out the storm! Beautiful!
|
What a great gift your DIL received in personal, one on one instruction. And a great way to not have to think about the storm. Glad you didn't lose power!!

Nice job ladies! Are you going to incorporate something into the quilting that these were done during Irene?

Very nice!

Wonderful quilts. It is terrific you are passing this passion on to a younger generation. Your DIL is very lucky.
