Ok problem now is that I am out of material that matches and have no idea what I am going to do for the back!

Ya'll like the RED kool-aid stain on my carpet in the top right corner my kids blessed me with this weekend?

Oh I didn't think of Black. I've used pink, blue and green with all brown involvement. I was thinking brown batik but I haven't found any solid brown.

Linda - yes tube blocks...

the sashing was a result of not planning and cutting my material wisely but I ended up liking it.

Looks really good.

Koolaid stain? Kids still breathing?

Time to make a rag rug and toss it over there...the carpet will survive.

Yes they are still breathing - I could only sigh....my oldes (19 in college was home and decided to pounce on my 12 year old and kool aid went everywhere - I just left the room)....

My husband promised me new carpet and furniture when the last one leaves (he is 12 but graduates at 16).....watch out 2015 - I get to go shopping!!!

Try seven up on the kool aid and blot really well.

The quilt is lovely, unusual color combo.

I think you should take time to find a dark brown batik or solid.

Try scrubbing bubbles for the stain. Spray it on, wait a minute or so, rub it into the stain with your fingers and then use a damp cloth and wipe up. Hopefully it works.
Oh yeah, really like the quilt top. Use up some old scraps for the back.
