All we have had is rain and thunderstorms for the last two week ends. In fact this weekend was horrible, with severe weather, tornadoes, and floods. However, I took advantage and worked on quilt tops. I just finished piecing this Buffalo Bill quilt top today and I had finished the water color panel right before I started it.

Farmer Girl 05-02-2010 03:32 PM

Bill is lovely as always, but ooooh that watercolor is beautiful!

Minnesewta-sam 05-02-2010 03:35 PM

Beautiful watercolor

MissM 05-02-2010 03:54 PM

The flowers on the water color are applique' . The stagecoach on the Buffalo Bill quilt is a fussy cut.

EllaBud 05-02-2010 03:59 PM

Both are very nice!

Love them both! I have a similar water color hanging kit sitting in my closet, but I am afraid to start...now I don't know if I could ever do as nicely as you...so I guess it will sit a while longer until I get a little braver.

danmar 05-02-2010 10:55 PM

very pretty

PurpleBecca 05-02-2010 11:24 PM

Both fabulous!!! Well Done

Very nice water colour quilt, the fabrics are very pretty, your Buffalo Bill quilt looks antique, like the way you have intergrated the two different blocks, very effective.

Those are both beautiful quilts. I can't think of anything better to do if you have to stay in because of the weather. Your watercolor panel is awesome. Great quilts. Thanks for sharing.
