My flowers survide the cold. I cleaned out and organized on sewing cabinet, made my DH the airplane shirt and made 28 veggie microwave cooking bags. for Baked potatoes, corn on cob and other veggies.

My DH is an airplane freak, he loves that shirt and I just love the fabric, can I ask where you got the fabric? Glad your flowers made it, mine did, too. Nice stash, too!

Great pictures. I can't wait for it to warm up so I can plant my Pansies.

Nice pictures. You sure have been busy!

Greetings from Flagstaff,
Glad to hear your flowers made it through; those violas and pansy are pretty hardy once they've acclimated. I'll sue be glad when it warms up enough up here to get some in the ground again! Sounds like you've been a BUSY quilter!!! Just curious; is there a LQS in Cottonwood? I usually shop up here, or Phx, or in Tucson when visiting my daughter. Wendy |
have you used the veggie bags? I made one with the "special" warm batting, put a potatoe in it, set the microwave for 8 mins, at 5 I smelled something and open the door to find my fabric smoking! it's not a high powered one, only 700 watts, I had made 6 bags to give away but now I guess they can be hot pads for the table.
