That really came out nice. What fun when we are just playing with fabric and come up with a beauty. Can't wait to see how you decide to finish it off

Remember I had made a couple regular Dresden blocks for a diversion? Well I just stuck one on the hole lol.....it is an Aunt Gracie. Then as I am looking at it, I think I would love a skirt made like this...the Good lord knows I have stash to do this, I might do it lol....

Now this is a unique way to use scraps! Great idea!

that could be a wonderful holiday wreath! just add/change a ribbon to go with the current one! ie red for christmas, pastel for easter, red hearts for valentines, etc.very fun!

delightful so far. A plain inner circle does not sound quite right to me. Maybe a floral panel or a bouquet of traditional looking flowers? If it is to be a table topper, you have the choice of appliqueing your Dresden platter to a background or leaving it the shape it is, just backing it. Please share whatever you do with this. I am sure it will be great.

I just saw your inner plate. I love it. Good for you.
