These are both very striking quilts - love the polka dots and yellow/white/black combination, and the simple pattern to keep it from being too in-your-face - and the first quilt is just delightful. Thanks for sharing!

How cute!! I'm making the Birdie stitches BOM too. But you are way ahead of me. I've only gotten the pieces cut. Haven't even started embroidering. I'm unoriginal and using the Moda Sunkissed fabric like on the website

i really liked the Moda Sunkissed fabric to. it's a great line of fabric. i just have so much blue and i could get started right away. they're really a lot of fun and the blocks go together so great.

i want to thank all of you for your kind words. i was so worried about my fabric choices on the yellow/black/white quilt. i love it. but, i really want my daughter to love it. so thank you. i think she will love it. <3
