I know I've seen this block before online but right now I can't remember its name to look it up. I saved the pic to my desktop but erased website.
Help, please :D
thanks!

Don't know, but when you find out, send me a PM to let me know. This is really very pretty......and looks like some of the "old time" patterns that used clothing that was no longer wearable......I would love to try and make something like this using shirting fabrics.

My D9P didn't come out looking like that...is this a different variation? I like it!

amma 10-12-2010 02:08 PM

Nope! I was wrong... the D9P can look similar, but I was mistaken when I looked again

It looks like Hot Cross Buns quilt pattern.

I think it's from a book by Atkinson Design called Take 2 & Add a Few

From looking at the site thimblebug6000 just posted, I'd say she's right. Love what you've done. Very pretty!

Oh I didn't make it. I saw it at my LQS classroom (someone left it on the table) and I want to make it too. The store was so busy I never got a chance to ask anyone the name of it.

I like that block too. I wonder if some where it is a free block.

Very pretty. I like those colors together.

Thimblebug6000 is correct. I made this quilt for my GD's graduation. If you look close at Hot Cross Buns - that block does not include the final border. The block is easy to make and was actually quite fun, although I had to stretch a bit using the colors my GD chose for her quilt!
