A teacher from work (who does not sew) found out I make quilts. I've only been making them (or sewing for that matter) for about a year. She said she had a baby blanket that is 30 years old and could I mend it. I should have examined it before I took it home and I probably would not have tried to mend it. Anyway she wanted sturdy so that's what I tried to do.
After mending Just worked with what I had..not square What it looked like when I got it home It was not square anyway It had lots of "pockets" |
NICE job!!! I hope she appreciates it! :)

that is all you can do is just fix it the best way, you did a great job and I am sure she will be happy

Wonderful, wonderful job! In my opinion, trying to make it square would have done damage. You did just the right amount of restoration. The teacher should be very happy! (And at the very least, treat you to a fancy dinner.....)

Great repair job - I am sure it was not easy and I hope she appreciates all the work.

You did a wonderful job.

You should be very proud. You did the quilt wonders. Excellent repair job! It so much harder to repair then to make. :-)

You've given her back a cherished memory!

You were very brave, and did a beautiful job repairing it.
