These fabrics I found at Walmart today and I can't decide on an easy patter to use. My husband wants me to do something other then just squares :( Leaving my comfort zone. Help me out ladies. What do you think? I need some help with this one.

D9P would be easy and really turns out nice.

Try a railfence, easy to do (much like squares) but the pieces are rectangles. :)

Such pretty fabrics. A D9P would be nice as suggested, or a fence rail, or a combo of a snowball block and 4 patch. Good luck, whatever you choose, I know it will be awesome.

Good idea.

I vote for railfence as well. Its a little different from squares, but will accent your color choices better than some other patterns.

why not try a twister... it won't be far from your comfort zone at first. and the tutorials on here are great.

I think I have decided to do a pinwheel quilt patter with just the purple and the rubber ducks. The green doesn't look so great with the others when I got home. Thats ok, just means I get to make something else or give it to someone to make something else lol.
