When life gives you lemons....

My mom is in assisted living and I like to keep something on her apartment door. She loves what I make and it is a great conversation started for her. This pattern is from Suzy's Artsy-Craftsy Sitcom and the name is Making Lemonade. I used felt for the beaks and tiny buttons for the eyes instead of embroidering them but I love how it turned out.

I love this bright, cheerful door hanger! Is it machine embroidery or did you fuse and stitch with a satin stitch? I do have an embroidery machine but only a 5x7 hoop. You did a wonderful job and I’m sure your mom anxiously awaits what you will make the next month. Love this!!!
