Beautiful fur baby!

KathyE 01-12-2022 07:53 AM

Such a good helper! And a cute one too.

Debbie Ness 01-12-2022 07:57 AM

Yeah, they might miss something...... :-)

Kitty trumps binding! Beautiful cat!

tallchick 01-12-2022 09:11 AM

What a beautiful supervisor you have! Sometimes they are there to remind us what is more important.

Quiltwoman44 01-12-2022 09:11 AM

well it looks like the time is now to teach kitty how to quilt!

SallyS 01-12-2022 11:25 AM

I am jealous! My kitty can't come in to my sewing room because she loves thread, has had surgery twice because she swallows it.

Karamarie 01-12-2022 04:12 PM

I think she is putting her claim on the quilt. Quilt looks very nice - what I can see of it.

What fond memories of my Stella, yes when I did hand work she wanted to be right there in my lap…sometimes she almost got too close to my machine sewing area too…. Sure do miss her.

canmitch1971 01-12-2022 07:56 PM

I have a quilt inspector too

Love your photo! That happens to me everytime too. If she goes to sleep I can twist (slowly) the quilt around and get the binding done. If she insists on being petted, it's not going to get done. Enjoy your time, you are catted.

Well shoot! If I was getting my chin and ears scratched, I wouldn't want to move either! Beautiful purrpuss! My boys are more into games. Hamish (the gold) is more of a watcher, while Angus (the black) prefers to get involved.

All cute cat pictures! We had a cat for 21 yrs. but she acted more like the dogs and preferred to lay on the floor with them.
I keep a gate outside my sewing room to keep all the hair out as we now have just two golden retrievers, who also like to
retrieve anything that hits the floor.

Keep em' coming! Nice fur baby

RedGarnet222 01-13-2022 12:52 PM

So homey, quilts and cats. Great life.
Our late kitty sampson would only stand a game of monopoly so long and then he would mess up the whole board with his paws. Jealous much? lol!

SusieQOH 01-13-2022 01:09 PM

All these kitties are precious!! I never get tired of anything cats.
To the original poster- your kitty just wants to make sure you're doing it right :D

Not a kitty, but she loves to quilt, including helping me bind, but don't have a photo of that.

Your fur baby is gorgeous! My grand is taking online college classes. Her kitty loves to lay or walk on the keyboard, lol.

I think having a pet to cuddle while quilting is very soothing. Your kitty is gorgeous!

I had two puppies once that followed me around. One day, I was quilting with a quilt stand and the puppies were snuggling at my feet. Only when it got quiet and I looked for them that I discovered that they were taking the batting out of the quilt that puddled on the floor! I had made a quilt for a friend that got a new puppy. She brought it to me with the batting pulled out of an area. Don't know why dogs have and attraction to the batting, but now I'm more careful.

SusieQOH 01-31-2022 06:16 AM

Logcabin- your kitty looks exactly like my oldest son's! How adorable.
Bkay- love your pooch!!

We got Mookie and Baby (brother and sister) as rescues. They are big cats and not lap cats. I miss that but they'd probably cut off my circulation if they got on my lap haha They do like to snuggle though.
