Actually to be honest with you, I saw the quilt and went "hey, I can figue that out, for sure", then I came home and posted the pics with the question, and THEN I took a better look at it, and went "duh, I don't need instructions, for this!"
I tried to map it out using the paint program, which is kind of difficult using this dumb laptop, but i have a photoshop program on the other computer which has come in handy before with my bright hopes quilt ( while i was figuring out on my own, before i knew that block had an actual name, lol!) and also my rainbow pinwheel quilt.

I think basically i was having a blonde moment, and I asked a question I didn't realize I already knew the answer to... That make sense?

Everyone is such great help around here! :-o

well ... as a natural blonde myself, i'm SURE you meant you were having a [each reader should insert any hair color other than blonde or your own] moment.

I think it's beautiful!
When you get it made, just send it on to me. :)

there is a very similar pattern in Eleanor Burns' EGG MONEY QUILTS book. i think she calls it "christian cross". you would have to tweek it but it looks very much the same.

I don't know for sure, but judging by the table of contents I'd guess that the pattern could be found in Traditions with a Twist by Blanche Young. Google has a preview and Amazon has it on sale.

Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Tradition-Twis.../dp/1571200029
Might also check at your library.

PatriceJ, I'm a natural blonde too, lol! Although I know there's no real truth to that expression, some of the things I do make me wonder...

Nor'easter, I've bookmarked that link, I'm going to ask my bf to order it for me :D
