Love these bags and I haven't heard the term "ditty bags" since my years in high school in the late 50's. Oops, just dated myself.

Justquilting 05-27-2009 10:12 AM

Thanks conblond...enlarging that pattern worked out very well. Credit still goes to Connecting Threads...I just made their idea a bit bigger for some girls that carry an aweful lot of stuff

Yeppers, she's always been into dragons. Here's her senior picture from a few years ago...she's 24 now. You should see some of the dragons she has drawn and painted. They're awesome. I'll have to see if she'll let me take some pics of them to show you.

Very nice

conblond2005 05-28-2009 03:14 PM

She is very pretty. I'd love to see the dragons. They are one of my favorite things. My friend is making a quilt for her daughter with colorful dragons. She doesn't get a lot done on it because she stays busy with quilting jobs and horses. Hope someday I can post it for her. She is the one that made the pink spiral that is on the board.

I just used close matching velcro. I think its great it comes in colors other than black, white and khaki now!! The buttons and such on them are just for embellishment. I probably should make actual button holes, but ummm...ya know how it is, sometimes we just want to be done LOL My daughter actually prefers velcro, or no closure at all...she says she doesn't have time for buttons.

butterflywing, ummm yeah, sweet...like her mom we'll go with that LOL

conblond...I'm still trying to convince her that she should let me post some of her artwork. She's stubborn as a mule ( I have NO idea where she gets that from, hehe)

Thanks for all the wonderful comments, like i've said before..y'all sure make a gal feel good :D .
