Don't you love it when you find the perfect fabric for a project? Love your Dr. Suess fabric!

I, too, recently found this Cat in the Hat panel. Haven't decided what to do with it yet. I have nieces and nephews adding to the family on a regular basis, so it will become a baby quilt at some point.

Yup I did buy the 2 yards white fabric for my butterfly quilt. I am thinking I should take a trip back for more of the Cat in the hat fabric...love it. The quilt will be for my son and his baby. My son is the one who asked for a cat in the hat for his future baby so that he could hang out on the couch with the baby with the quilt...he does have two other quilts that I have made that he uses. He has been asking for a Dr. Suess quilt even before he was expecting...LOL. I emailed him the fabric that I just found and he loves it and now wants a pillow case. Love how he is still a big kid at heart at 26.

Hope to get this started in a few weeks...need to finish the train quilt first...hoping to complete that by next Sunday. At least the top.

Great fine.
I need to ask you..Is DH related to mine. I often get him to a quilt shop and he sits in the car or on a chair near the exit.

Too funny.

carolaug 09-10-2012 02:21 PM

Ben Franklin is a great place to get quilt quality fabric!! I love it...though its a little more than an hour away. The prices are GREAT! They also have a website. I buy my locker hooking supplies from them also. They charge 3.99 regular price where as Joanns charges 9.99 for the same item.

hperttula123 09-10-2012 05:00 PM

Love it!!! Our Ben Franklin has tons of wildlife prints. I don't get there very often.
