It is just lovely! I was travelling from London to Atlanta and sat with a wonderful lady from London who was going to Florida to meet her husband. She had cut out and sewed by hand during the 7 hour flight a dress to wear to dinner with her husband that night. I was enchanted. I so enjoyed hearing the lilt of her voice and sharing life with her when she said, "Oh, it just makes one ready to have a duvet day!" As special as your quilt is, it reminds me of that conversation and makes me want to snuggle up under that quilt on the couch and have a very special "duvet day"!

It is a work of art. Use and enjoy. If you don't use it now it may end up at Goodwill in the future.

How I envy you for your bravery. I think they are the most beautiful quilt around but I just don't have the patience to do that. It was worth every minute you spent. I too would be afraid to use it.
