What beautiful work. I love hand quilting, too; but do not have your patience to tackle something like this. Very impressive!!

STUNNING!! I love whole cloth. Want to try one when I grow up.

What I use? Nothing really special. I don't use a thimble at all, just my hands, a needle and thread! :) What you need is practice, a lot of practice - and a little bit of patience. Normally I am a really unpatient person but quilting calms me down.

I am not sure, but I think I needed 5 to 6 weeks to finish it (fulltime quilting).

Just beautiful! You did a wonderful quilt.

Good Grief! I am going to have to think on this. I may even make a concerted effort to work on something like a piece of muslin to see if I can make something similar. I have bookmarked and after I finish the project I am on, I will practice. I am just amazed at your work.

Just the most beautiful wholecloth quilt I've seen, love the red instead of the usual neutral. Great job

Breathtaking work!

Wow! That quilt is jaw dropping gorgeous! I'm blown away by it and love the use of the red fabric. Wow!
