Super crazy quilt. Did you do a QAYG technique?

Love your quilt & what a great way to use up scraps. Did you use a muslin on the back of each block for stabilizer? Also, did you use various types of sewing machine stitches to embellish each piece in each block? I might want to make something like this for a charity quilt but don't know where to begin. Thanks!

Really nice use of scraps. I have enough scraps to make something like what you have done...just not sure i have the nerve.

Great quilt. I really like it!
I'm with osewme, did you use a foundation, and if so, what kind? I've been thinking about making a quilt that uses scraps, but removing the paper sounds like a real chore and using muslin seems like it would result in a heavy quilt. I'm not sure that using nothing would work.

I did use a foundation. I had some really thin fabric someone gave me that I didn't want to use because it was so thin, but it worked great for the backing on the blocks. I also used scrap pieces of flannel on the back of the quilt and did it as a quilt as you go using decorative stitches on my machine. It was really heavy by the time I got to the last couple of rows, but I managed.

Love, love, love your crazy quilt. Glad you put a dent in your scrap bin. Seems like this is something I need to consider to use up scraps.
