Why do I wait so long?
1 Attachment(s)
This BOM was from 2011 and I never even started it! Why do I wait so long? Possibly because I didn't have a recipient in mind and other quilts became a priority and this was forgotten. Well with Covid I have been attacking those UFOs, as are other members, and here is my latest: Noah's Ark which finishes at 59" x 63" so the pale blue Minkee I have for the backing will accommodate it. It is all buttonhole applique and hand embroidery with pigma pen eyes.

Just darling! 😍 Some child is going to love that quilt!
Finishing UFOs is SO cool, isn't it? Especially with results like this - so cute! |
I have been thinking about your question, and why I wait so long. For me, it's because I'm afraid I can't do it for one reason after another. If I can just start a task, I can do it. If I don't start, sometimes it's because I don't like that part of whatever I need to do. The thing is, I'm very accomplished and need to stop procrastination. Any hints would be welcome.

I did the same thing. I had a few? shop hop kits from previous years sitting in boxes. So, during Covid I decided to put them together. I now have 7 sets of sampler block quilts that need to be put together and made up into quilts!. They start from 2008 and go to 2011. Some, I wonder why I even picked them up. :-)
