Again I have to say this is a show stopper!!! I did forget to ask you before and I know you have probably answered this question already but it would take me all night to go through this whole thread to find the answer, but how long did it take you to make this and how much time in a day did you work on it?

Good Question. It took me 2 months from start to finish. I worked on it for at least 2-3 hours each day. I took one or two days off when my carpal tunnel acted up too much to sew. Most days, I spent 5-8 hours though. That's a rough estimate. I know for a fact that one of the blocks alone took 12 hours to embroider, plus more time to applique.

it would be fun to get together some time, I see your in Iowa, I am about an hour and 45 minutes from the Iowa border. I go to Lancaster, Decorah and Davenport a few times a year. Are you near any of those towns? There is a yarn shop in Decorah I like to visit. I will look you up next time I am in the area.

It's so cute. I can see why it took a while looks like a lot of work especially with sore hands. Enjoy. Sue
