Love it -- love the quilting -- great job! I also agree with the others that this little quilt needs to have at least one quilt show on its resume.

I did not use a pattern. I just drew the tree on the fabric, colored it in with a permanent ink marker, then started stitching. There was no plan involved because it was a trial quilt to just see what I could do....

It is awesome! It should go into a quilt show! If you decide to do a bigger version, just rethink the edge. On your small one you squared it up and blocked out the wrinkles. On a bigger version, try a wavy or ragged edge to extend the movement past the quilt edge and to hide any ripples. If you play up the ripple movement on the edge it will look even more windy. Is windy the word or should I say breezy?
