Taking photos to "stage" the dresses.. Now for the fun part. Assemble.. what goes next to what.. Dolly in the center. Two outfits left to create, will decide pants or dress as I arrange.. and what color is needed to round out the quilt.
getting excited ! found the same background fabric, as my first Dolly Days quilt, this past weekend.. was on the hut for that a long time ! Whoo Hoo. Now, do wish for the back.. but. LQS has such a fast turnaround.. 6 months too late. have embroidered the tags for Christmas dress minaturized and christening gown represented. Thanks everyone for encouragement ! and wonderful comments ! Next post.. quilt ! |

All of these are just the cutest little things I have ever seen. I bet many hours will be spent playing and dressing with these. Such a creative and neat idea.

Those are precious! every dress is beautiful!

Adorable. Look forward to seeing it completed

Wonderful, I love it. But I don't understand how it will work. Do the dresses and the doll come off (velcro) or does just the doll and you move her around? or do you pick the one where the doll goes? Sorry for the ----question. (I know that there are no dumb quilting questions, but I think that this is the exception.)

Those are beautiful! I love it! A while back I posted about my Sunbonnet Sue w/ matching doll. I had an idea the other day to do the same thing for Raggedy Ann. Will take pics of both when I get Ann done, but first I have to finish a Road to Oklahoma for my youngest daughter!! Ah, UFO's - will it never end? LOL!! Karen
