WIP autumn Beauty
 

My DDiL has been diagnosed with MS and is mainly in a wheelchair. It occured to me that a lap quilt was called for. I completed the PPing, now is the time to complete the blocks.

This looks wonderful. I am sure your daughter-in-law will cherish it. I gave my first quilt I made to my father. He had lewy-body dementia and he wanted to be buried with it. He never seemed to forget who made the quilt for him and he sure was attached to it.

That will be a wonderful gift - she'll always have a hug.

You've done a beautiful job! She is bound to love it. My daughter was diagnose with MS four years ago and so far hasn't needed a wheel chair. She is a nurse and gets tired from the long days, but she is coping rather well. Best wishes to your daughter-in-law.

This is just so pretty - so very different from the usual block-ish patterns you see in lap quilts. The choice of fabrics makes this a real stand-out. GREAT JOB!
