Years ago I saw a quilt that was appliqued using MANY different cookie cutters and fell in love    It was awesome and always said one day I will make one - so I began collecting cookie cutters  Not that I will ever use them for baking :-o LOL But so far I have over 100 drawn out on heat n Bond , using 30s fabric and put on cream(?) muslin. The cut outs are machine appliqued, then I cam also doing them as a sort of Quilt as you go . So far I have 3 squares finished - and nope haven't figured out how big I will do it or how I will put it all together yet . Welcome all suggestions for putting it together  Some have asked for pics so here they are and will add more as I get them done

I once thought about doing this same thing with cookie cutters but never followed through on it. Can't wait to see how your whole quilt turns out!!!

Sharon, that is such a neat idea, your cookie cutter shapes are so cute. Keep posting pictures as you go along, can't wait to see it finished.

If you want to add more color, you could frame each one with the same fabric that you used for the applique. It will be beautiful regardless. The fabrics are so nice and you're doing a great job with the stitching.
