This was my first try at pinwheels..after a while, i got them all to perfect points, but I kept all the ones that weren't...then I tried to off set all the blocks, so they didn't line up in a row, and it was more of a crazy pattern..one pannel won't lay flat..thinking of trying to fix that one..and I am cutting squares and sewing two of different colors together for the boarder...It's got mistakes...but it's not horrible right??

Thank you mytwopals...Everyone who's seen it says they love it, I guess I am just critcal, because it isn't perfect..And not all my points are perfect, and some of the blocks line up to neatly lol...only thing bad I heard was it's not big enough for a bed.

Sorry, the quilt police has set up residency in my head..It's just jealousy looks at all these amazing pieces...and I'm just lucky if I have 20 min a day to quilt, and practice, and learn, and perfect...:::sigh::: It's not my fault if all of you are so amazing :)

Thank you guys!! I'm gonna bring some pieces wih me to the hospital tomorow, and try to hand sew them..I should have 11 or more hours there to get the hang of it! It only took me 5 whole blocks to get the hang of getting the points to match up....

The colors are so much more vibrant, but as I have explained before this camera just doesn't like me, and I have No idea how to set the 6000 settings to get good pictures, not to mention I am still haveing problems uploading pictures....I need a camera that is more my speed lol

I really love your blocks. And think you are doing a wonderful job. Pinwheels are a favorite of mine but they can be pesky trying to get everything all lined up perfect. Keep up the great job you are doing. I love yours.

I wanted my center points to line up, but I didn't want to blocks to line up..I love the look of a traditional pinwheel pattern, but I wanted something a little more pish-posh, I never follow patterns..well once, because it all looks too uniform to my eyes. I like crazy quilts :)
I was always told pinwheels are basic for begginers..I dunno if I would agree with that, I had a really hard time at first, but as soon as I realized what I was doing wrong ( serves me right for not following directions or even looking at a pattern lol ) It came together very nicely...I'm hoping to get my borders on today, if my littlest monest ever takes a nap.
