I have a dear friend of 30+ years who is recovering from Guillain–Barré syndrome. I decided she needs a little "pick-me-up".

My inspiration is from this mystery: http://www.quiltseeds.com/free/HaH/hahindex.html

Can you see how they are similar? I kept the Hearts idea, friendship stars, and 6 inch block size. I think that is about it....???

I am adding some borders now to make it nap size so ignore the pins.
I hope to get it sent off to her soon!

It's wonderful. So bright and cheerful. It will be the perfect pick-me-up.

That is a great quilt for your friend. She was very fortunate to recover from that awful illness; my dear aunt lost her life to it a couple of years ago. It was horrible.

So sorry to hear you lost your dear aunt. I hadn't heard of this before Pam. She has been in re-hab re-learning to walk and talk. She is a trooper! When I look at what she has had on her plate, I feel very blessed!
