Well here I am trying to make a quilt for my BFF daughter who is graduating in May with a Construction Management degree. I originally thought I would make a D9P but then thought it would be too busy. I dont know if I am happy with this Shadowbox but now it is too late to change. I put the pieces on my design board so they are not sewn together. Sashing will be in between and it is the light brown. So please tell me what you think.

I love the shadowbox look and am looking forward to the finished quilt. She will be very happy with it, I am sure.

I'm thinking it's great. I can't wait to see it finished.

I think it is looking great. Keep on trucking. Show us the end result.

Love it. Great use of fabrics

All of the prints are busy enough that the simple shadow boxes really help them stand out! Don't change a thing. It's always so much more fun when you know that the quilt is for /you/ and there's simply no 'shadow' of a doubt. ;)

I like it. I'm an engineer so anything "Angular" I am into.

Thank you for the support. I will keep going and hopefully it will look good in the end.

Looks good so far, can not wait until you post pictures of the finished quilt.

I think you came up with a great design to showcase the construction fabrics. She will love it!

I really like shadowbox quilts. Your fabrics and layouts are very nice, and I think the final quilt will be terrific!
