I like these kind of trains: they do not smell like trains, they do not need electricity to run, and they take up very little room. I hope your dad likes it! Great job on it. Are the wheels appliquéd on?

They start as squares and then you sew a little square in the corners. Trim the excess and press open and walla a circle. Its tedious but easy.
