WIP Wintu purse side

I made a purse for one friend. My DH pointed out that another friend was even more deserving, so I started a new project. This has 3 Wintu patterns. the top is the Wintu Flying Geese. Then Forest. Then Frog Fingers. The brown will be the bag's bottom.

these pattern elements are traditional Wintu (Indian) basket patterns which I adaptrd for quilting. My friend is Wintu.
