My daughter Tara traced this for me this weekend and I got it started Sat. night and here's where I've gotten so far. The colors are darker than they show up, but I love it and can't seem to put it down. Thanks for looking.

i am also doing this. i loved the crayon technique. only i did mine lighter in color. loved this part of it. dont care for making the blocks for the quilt. very time consuming. enjoy! i know it was fun.

I too have embroidered the block and have all the fabric bought for the rest of it. I didn't use crayons on it but used a little darker background.

Thanks everyone, my computer was down all night due to weather, so much rain.

Would love to see a picture as well. The crayons will also fade a little as I work on it, I didn't go any where as daek as they said. It is fun working on it.

You are coming right along with your project! I really like the Crab Apple Hill patterns. This weekend I saw the Witches Hat made up -- it sits on a table and is covered with beautiful stitching. I don't have any place to put one but may have to try it one of these days.
