That's beautiful..can't wait to see the finished quilt
|
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 'wobble' stitch is a very narrow zigzag - like 1.0 rather than the standard 3.0 width. This produces a stitch that is almost a straight stitch and is most often used when doing a stitch in the ditch.
I love the sparkle this gives your block as well as the embroidery stitches on the other half of the block. The block would look great with these alone, but your bloom embroidery will truely make this a fantastic heirloom. |
beautiful, thanks for sharing

This is absolutely beautiful work. Do I understand that the first stitching on the squares (those that resemble blanket stitch) are done on right side up. Then turn quilt over and change threads to bobbin for the large embroidery.

That is really lovely

Gorgeous :!:

it sure is stunning!

That is very stunning. I am interested also in what the "wobble stitch" is.

That is beautiful work! The 'wobble stitch' looks like herringbone to me but then I need new glasses so I'm prepared to be corrected!
|
Actually I correct myself - had another peer and I think it's feather stitch.
