Working from a photo, this guy took about a week. This is mostly threadpainted and was done off the background to avoid the distortion. About 18x24

lovely! DH has collection statues, pictures,& xst. Your wall hanging, is almost identical to the left side of the xst picture just the black border is missing.(I didn't do the xst.) Tinker

When you say "off the background", do you mean it was thread painted then applied to the background? It's really cool!

Yes, something this big and heavy is bound to distort so I stitch them onto an interfacing and the trim to mount.
