How sweet.. that is the cutest little machine I have seen.. they sure made neat toys when we were kids.. not all plastic like they do now.

Oooohhhh, how sweet. Hubby scored a few points!!
The machine is so darling. Hard to believe it's a "toy".

About 1961....when I was six.

DH searched the internet and was able to find and download the manual for free from the Singer website.

What a sweet husband!!! My DH is always going to auctions and always tries to buy me something sewing related. Once it was a sewing basket with legs, once a quilt rack that was handmade (he refinished it) and the last time he went he bid on an ugly quilt, but did not get it.

Such a cute little machine!

What a wonderful find!! I had a toy sewing machine when I was a child. The only thing I remember about it was that it was green and it chain stitched. Wish I could find one like it.

It does seem that many of us had the quilting/sewing seed planted very early doesn't it!?
