I found an UFO and not sure if I should finish it since it is soooo out of whack, hence the titel "Wonky House".
Would you finish it??
BTW I made this about 7 or 8 years ago....

Sure. Then I would make some other wonky blocks to add to it. It might make a fun quilt or wall hanging.

I try to finish everthing. I don't know if there's a way to try to square it up or not. Maybe others will give suggestions. It's a cute quilt.

I like it! Finish it please!

PJisChaos 02-17-2011 12:30 AM

For some reason, all I can see is a bird house missing some birds... I would applique a few "wonky" or mishaped birds around it to add to the wonkiness. But, that's just me. ;-)
Def. finish it though, is cute and springy-like.

THAT is exactly what I was thinking...add more wonky elements to further wonk it. Because it isn't quite wonky enough yet, but it is pretty!

I like it!

I like it. Love the idea of wonky birds. It would be a darling wall hanging.

CloverPatch 02-17-2011 07:03 AM

I must be missing something. Why is it "wonky" what is wrong with it? Looks normal to me.

LoisN 02-17-2011 07:04 AM

What if you made the outer border MORE wonky by cutting a wedge off. Then put another border on to square it. Does that make sense? I love it.

Mariposa 02-17-2011 07:07 AM

Would make a nice wall hanging. Maybe add some birds too~

queenpola 02-17-2011 07:46 AM

yes, I'd finish it for sure, it's lovely

babyboomerquilter 02-17-2011 08:02 AM

It is really pretty, yep, finish it!

I agree with those who say to "wonk-it-up". Just enhance that feature of it and it will look cute as can be. Or add more wonky blocks to make a bigger quilt.

Lovely colours!

I have a friend that had a block that didn't square up. She finished it and hung it up in her house. There is "no way" this can hang straight. She has a lot of fun watching the perfectionists try to get it to hang straight. She has a quircky sense of humor.

karenm36 07-28-2011 06:09 AM

My first thought was to add some applique birds, etc. to it...all kind of wonky in their own way. I think this is great!
