wonky stars

This was just a fun quick top that I put together recently using some scraps from my stash. I call it Seizure Stars, because if you get too close you might have a seizure with all those colors and lines! Best to look at it from a distance... So I'm not totally in love with the top, but it served its purpose for being non-technical and easy. Therefore, a success. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/tongue.png

I like it! Finished is always good.

How cute! I like the way you did the bright colors with the white with black background. It really makes the stars pop.
I made a wonky stars jacket. I love this pattern. |
Cute quilt top!

The stars are colorful and fun...they pop so nicely. Nice scrappy.

I agree, I really like it too. It is a good project if you can use up some of the stash. Most of us have bins full.

This is a dazzling quilt top! you did a great job the colors are perfect and the use of the various black and whites is the perfect balance. Thanks for sharing.

Great quilt! The wonky stars are definitely on my to do list.
|
I love it!
|
I like that. There are so many possibilities with doing that quilt with color variations, etc.
|
Wow, fabulous wonky stars! The b/w background really sets them off. Can't wait to see it quilted.
|
Great scrappy. I love the way the black and white background patterns contrast with the colored stars well done!

Your quilt is a stunner!! I am sitting in bed under my version of a Wonky Stars quilt at this moment.https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png My quilt group did this as an exchange block activity in 2012. It is one of my favorites and I have used the pattern often for baby quilts. Quick, easy to adjust size, and uses up what is on hand. Wonky Stars seem to always bring a smile.

How fun! I hope to make one in a slightly quieter palette.
