This is a charity quilt, lap quilt, and my first try at FMQ on my brother cs6000i. It is far from being good, but I did alot of different patterns from the Leah Day website. Some were definitely easier than others. I have stippling down and can do some decent pebbling....but feathers need lots of work! I thought that since it was for kids in the hospital, I really didn't think they would care if my FMQ wasn't the greatest. The pattern allowed for lots of practice and now I have visions of larger projects...lol. But I do know ....practice, practice, practice!

Nice work...it is certainly harder than it looks...I am in need of many more hours of practice...

I like all the different patterns you did in each of the blocks. Great job.

Great job! I recognize some of those designs from Leah Day's site. Good work. Does your machine have a stitch regulator?

Good job, indeed! I like the idea of trying all the different patterns, it's such an easy way to practice and see if you like the different ones.

Thanks for mentioning this site. I did a search and found it, what a great site. I'm going to take the time to check it out and watch some of her tutorials.
Quilt looks lovely.
