Thanks everyone! I got up this morning and found all your wonderful comments! Who hasn't spent quality time with someone over a cup of tea or coffee? This pattern reminds me of good times.
I'm planning to hang the quilt in my dining room and display a few teapots around it. LOL! Some of you have the same fabric! My! What good taste you have! Because it was my first applique experience, I was terrified to invest a lot of money into the fabric. Joanns had a fabulous sale and I purchased the fabric in 1/4 yard lengths. Plus, I had my teacher's discount which they deduct from the total bill. The top cost less than $20. Include the backing, batting, thread, boarder, and binding and then the total cost was less than $40. I love this. I collect teacups and teapots and have been wanting to make something like this. Now on to your next quilt. Keep up the great work.

My friend would have loved this one, she was from england. Many times we had a cup of tea together. Sadly she passed away, but I know, one day I will have a cup of tea with her again. |
