Good morning...I just wanted to update you on my projects and get your opinion on the backings. As you know...I'm new to quilting...so any advise is more than welcomed. My last posting with the quilt made from baby outfits brought smiles to my heart...you were all great. Now...here are my other 2 projects that I am working on. The first one is the kit I bought from Anna Griffin...it's called "Blue Willow"...see what you think about the backing. The other one is a 9 block "Teddy Bear"...this one is for my new granddaughter..."Madison"...please let me know what you think...Happy Quilting to all

I love the Blues. I have not bought any kits. Have you been happy with the quality in them? Love the teddy bears too. I have a granddaughter who would love to have one. So I maybe working one up too.

They are both wonderful. The first reminds me of the kitchen dishes my Grandmother used to have. I'm impressed with how you kept everything straight...your piecing is great! The backings look great for both of them.

This was the first kit that I have ever ordered. Anna Griffin's fabric is wonderful...but the instructions are not that clear. This was my 1st project...put it on the back burner for a couple of months until I was comfortable with cutting and piecing. The kit only included fabric for the top...I just purchased the backing at JoAnn's yesterday...that's why I wanted to QB members ideas on my choice. Thank you for your comments :lol: :lol: :lol:
