It is a neat idea.. we just made a full size yo-yo coverlet at our quilting group..for a class project to raffle. Can say they did not really enjoy making about 2,000 !!!!!!!!

Wow! I love the gold stitching on the appliques it makes the design pop off the square. I also love your landscape shot in your avatar, I'm facinated with Spain, Australia and many European countries. I can imagine you all around the quilting frame under a purgola quilting and laughing. I'm probably just dream all this up but it's nice to dream what it's really like to live in such a beautiful place.

Ooooooh, Elle, thanks for sharing! You have a very talented group of ladies. I love the dimensional pieces. Manipulating fabric is sew fun! We have a couple hand dyers in our guild and I love their unique work. Keep sharing their work, and yours as well!
