Working on a Farmer's Wife
 

I've started a Farmer's Wife, mainly to learn how to make more complicated blocks and to learn new things. I don't do mis-matchy stuff too well, so I don't think my blocks have much punch to them, not enough contrast.

I disagree. Your blocks are gorgeous, and you're going to have a lovely quilt.

This quilt is great, maybe change the layout if you don't like the look. I think it will turn out just perfect. Thanks for sharing.

it's a great start!!! i think they look just fine. they'll come together when you sash them

I think your squares look great. It's going to be a beautiful quilt when its finished. After the blocks are sewn together and it's quilted it wil look totally different. Be sure to post it when it is finished.

Your quilt is looking great. You are a brave woman to be doing the Famer's Wife quilt. Keep up the good work.

I like the blocks. They are very pretty. Maybe alternate the darker and lighter ones.
