Congratulations on finishing up some of your UFO's. While it wasn't really a New Year's Resolution, I hope to complete many of my UFO's, along with new projects this year. Last year I finished one quilt top, which I had to send to my niece to long arm quilt in time for our July 4 family reunion. The previous year I had a torn rotator cuff in my right (of course, I'm right handed) shoulder, which had been repaired, however, after 8-9 months my symptoms re-appeared with a vengeance, so I scheduled a total shoulder replacement for May, and I'm so glad I did. There was the usual discomfort and pain following surgery, but within a short time, I started feeling less and less pain, until now I'm pain free, so I'm very happy that I made the decision to have the surgery. Unfortunately, that meant that I was not able to quilt for over 6 months, then a serious of falls sidelined me to two hospital visits and 2 months of rehab., but I'm happy to report that I am now on the mend and back to quilting. Yippee. I have orders to make 2 quilts for a set of fraternal (boy and girl) set of twins due in March, a baby quilt for a dear friend's daughter, and another one for my DIL's brother and wife who just had a baby girl. Then I just received the fabric kit (I'm glad it was finally back in stock) for the Jinny Beyer 2015 BOM, so I have started on that and 2 other BOM online with Craftsy, plus the many, many quilts that have been put on hold the past few years. I'm hoping that 2016 will be the year I finish many of my UFO's and other projects on my "Roundtoit List".

When I started pulling projects to get organized, I found this sweet piece hiding....happy it's out in the open again! :) there is quite a bit of FMQ in the black....can't see a stitch of it in the pic! The applique was done by hand-I think my skills have improved in the last 15 years! :)
The snowman quilt was a free BOM by Ann Sutton, Snow Happy Hearts. Was fun and easy to keep up with the blocks. I struggled a bit with the final layout (most used theirs as sweet ornaments) but I am happy with it. Now for that final pesky step "quilt as desired"!
I have several more projects waiting their turn....shame on me!

A applaud you for the UFO's you have completed. Keep up the good work. Love your black applique project. Very pretty.
