I thought I would post some pics and give an update. I don't get to work on my quilting as much as I'd like to nor have as fast as completes as I'd like.
The first couple pics will be of my nephews train quilt htat has been in the frame for 1 1/2 years. It is almost done. I can see the top border!!! The second post will be of a top that I posted a couple months back. I am hand quilting this one also but in a hoop instead of the frame. Some pros are that using the hoop doesn't hurt my back as much but a con is that it doesn't get as tight as the frame. Hope you like the pics. Kyia |

THank you everyone for your kind words!
Kyia :-) |
I sooo admire that you are hand quilting the two quilts! I don't have a problem sitting down to do counted cross stitch, but the idea of hand quilting a quilt that size is mind-numbing. They are both wonderful - and I like the green thread, too!

Thank you all for your kind words and support. Kyia |
So Beautiful!
You might benefit if you could tilt your quilting frame up at the back to about a 45 degree angle. I did that, by tying ropes to the back of my frame and suspending it from the ceiling. Since then my back has felt much better! |
