Would like to make something out of this for DM. I have indigo bundting blue, goldfinch yellow, and the daisy fushia to coordinate. I'm not sure if this is good for Stack & Whack, although it is lovely in the mirrors.

If it looks good in the mirror, go for it! I have only used large prints, but that is just what I had at the time.

I think it would work up nicely. If you like the images in the mirrors...I'd say go with your gut feeling! The colors are beautiful and what DM wouldn't love it?

It's almost too pretty to cut up for SAW, but that's just me. I think it's large enough a pattern to work for that. The colors would be pretty.

It is a beautiful fabric but for me it is a little sparsely printed for a stack and whack...I like the design to be a little closer together or more dense. Not so much background showing. But like someone else said. Try it with the mirror...it may look great! It is a really gorgeous piece of fabric!

Beautiful fabric.

personally, i wouldn't use it for SNW - too small of a print. it is a beautiful fabric.

Gosh, that is so pretty I'd be afraid to cut it, bu tyou know what they say, "The mirror(s) never lie" ;-)

MamaBear61 03-25-2011 04:49 AM

That is beautiful fabric.

I agree that the pattern is to pretty to be cut into S&W. Why not try a pattern with large blocks or fussy cut blocks to show off pattern.
