Loved this technique of weaving the strips for the background! Very addictive! Machine appliqued the plants and fish. I've just hunted for my book, but I think I loaned it out. Sorry cannot remember the title! You just weave the strips, stitch together as one whole piece then treat as you would any other?

A little more complicated than just that. You actually cut in wavy lines both fabrics. That's so they inter lock nicely. I have got to find me book!!
